On Saturday evening, Feb. 9, 2019 -- I was able to connect to the
Coastal Carolina D-Star Net with DV Tool 2.0 -- but I had to exit
it during the net (I had already passed my traffic), for computer
issues at my end, with Windows 7 32-bit.
When I went to reload DV Tool 2.0, I got the message that "Callsign
Not Found On Gateway -- you will be able to LISTEN, but NOT be able
to TRANSMIT". This has happened once before...and the last time, as
I recall, it was with a hardware and software upgrade to the
reflectors.
As a result, I exited DV Tool, reloaded it, and the same thing happened.
So, I uninstalled DV Tool 2.0 -- and am unable to get WinDV to install
(it can't find the drivers or software).
I tried going back to DV Tool 2, beta 4 (where I could access the
X-Reflector Nets), but a similar thing happened (software can't find
the gateway). When I tried to find DV Tool on my computer, the system
has no idea where it is. So, the DV Dongle I have right now is basically
USELESS, as I have no programs to transmit with.
Plus, finances are extremely tight right now (from an Emergency Room
visit in early January, and surgery this past week), so I can NOT afford
a new dongle, and I do NOT want someone else spending money for one for
me. I can't even get the software to work with it...and there are NO
ACTIVE D-STAR REPEATERS in Little Rock.
To make a long story short, I am now QRT on D-Star and D-Rats UNTIL
FURTHER NOTICE!!
This means the following changes for the nets where I checked into, or
was one of the Net Controls...especially where I passed weather traffic:

1) Southeast US D-Star Weather Net, REF 4A, Sunday, 9pm Eastern -- still
online, but I need to be REMOVED from the Net Control roster (primary,
backup, D-Rats) UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
2) Community Emergency Response Team D-Star Net, REF 58A, Thursday,
9:30pm Eastern -- still online, but I need to be REMOVED from the Net
Control roster UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
3) New Mexico D-Star Net, REF 55A, Thursday, 10pm Eastern -- still online,
but I need to be REMOVED from the Net Control roster UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
4) Iowa D-Star Net, REF 53A, Saturday, 9:30pm Eastern -- still online,
but I need to be REMOVED from the Net Control Roster UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
