There are a wide variety of ham radio programs available. Here on The
Thunderbolt BBS, I have many of the ham radio shareware and freeware files from
the former QRZ and Monsterware collections. However, many of these are for
operating systems such as MS-DOS, Windows 3.x, 95, 98, and up through XP...and
many of these may no longer be registerable.
Ham Radio Deluxe used to be freeware, but it is now commercialware, with a
yearly fee. Echolink and CQ100 can only be downloaded from their respective
websites. While use of Echolink is free, CQ100 costs around $40 per year.
