This message area is for hamfests. Short for ham radio festival, it's
a ham radio event with things like:

1) Dealers that sell new and used gear, antennas, apparel, etc.

2) Flea Market Tables where you can buy used gear for what you could
not afford new.

3) License Exams to obtain or upgrade your ham radio license.

4) Forums, where you can learn about various aspects of the hobby.

5) Displays of Emergency Communications Equipment.

6) The Wouff Hong Ceremony (if an ARRL Division or National Convention).

7) Fox hunting (find the hidden transmitter).

8) Door prizes, the main draw of the hamfest. In most cases, you MUST
be a licensed ham radio operator to win the radio prizes.

Note that I am working on preparing batchfiles for these message areas,
and it may take some time to get these posts going.
