i had delta and omnicron.
delta was from a coworker who went to a basketball championship celebration
where many many many many people were packed in like sardines. he came back
and got us all sick. then with omnicron my job had a guy flown across the
country to train us and he gave it to us all. i called that one because he
had the weird covid cough.
covid killed my mom on her birthday in 2020 and my aunt.
I didn't get SUPER sick, more like the flu the first time.
Also i had not had the flu for 30 years and I rarely got colds. Now I get
them all. I still don't really get in contact with big groups of people.
My sense of taste has been altered and i now drink sodas and foods i thought
were disgusting before and I can't enjoy spicy food anymore. I still have
some brain fog that i didn't have before covid. I used to pick things up
super quick like a sponge but now it's harder.
I also no longer have a high energy personality where i would occupy myself
with hobbies and learning new things. Now i just rest when i get home from
work.
This could all be attributed to getting old or whatever, but it
happened right away after getting covid.
