I agree about the package managment but I installed it and i was up and going
pretty quick.  the install is quite refreshing compared to today's linux installs which are annoying and bloated.

i didnt need to edit the kernel config.  it was pretty user friendly, people don't have to spend time figuring out shit like years ago.
