Ubuntu worked fine here, until I tried to upgrade to the next release. Any
time I have tried to upgrade to the next release, on any machine, it bricks
the machine until I freshly install something else on it (usually Debian).
Debian, the distro that Ubuntu is derived from, does not give me that
issue. It just works. Devuan, another Debian derivative, also does not
give me that issue (although I have found on some hardware it is better to
install it as a cli-only OS).
