I liked PyGopherd when I tried it. I didn't think it as significantly easier to
set than Gophernicus. I mean, both are dead easy, and Gophernicus is in ports.

I currently host a gopherhole at gopher://gopher.operationalsecurity.es
(gopher://gopher.corrin.gopher in opennic space). It is basically an automated
mirror of my website.
