I run mine under Linode, and linode does nightly snapshots of the entire disk
(for a small fee).

While rsync isn't the only game in town, it's probably still the best and
easiest option.

I'd definitely suggest keeping regular archives, though. Prior to the current
incarnation of my BBS, I had a drive fail in the middle of a backup corrupting
the backup and I lost everything.
