Slackware is the first linux I ever laid eyes on. we tried zipslack first, then
quickly got rid of it because it sounded as if it was going to rip a hole in my
hard drive using the fat system and all. after that we started downloading
slackware. bit by bit, and buidling it all from scratch, it was quite the
experience.
