I've only played with a cheap drone.  It took OK video, but had some control
issues that could render it unusable at times.  Hoping one day to get a better
drone one day.  Though a big challenge is finding places to legally fly them -
between the proximity of the local airport, a helipad and much of the open
space being managed by Parks Victoria (where it's illegal to fly drones),
there's only a few sports fields that can be used, since I haven't seen
anything prohibiting drones in the local bylaws.  But have to make sure they
are empty, to ensure one can comply with the aviation regs.

But drones do have a lot of cool uses, when in the right hands.

... Honk if you love peace and quiet.
