Tony,

V>Oh I do those too, but evening for me is time in together. :)

I do the QCWA CQ100 Net at 11am Eastern Time on Friday...but any other
daytime nets are checkin by choice.

Shoulder pain (arthritis) and a nature call woke me. So, I took an
Ibuprofen, and am doing the QWK Mail real quick, while I wait for it to
kick in. We've got dense fog out there this morning from all the rain,
so there's no point in going out until midday.

V>Hmm, OK.  Still, the US seems to be taking it more casually for the number of
V>cases compared to here.  But for us, there's optimism that our stance may pay
V>off, and that restrictions may be eased by mid-late May, and that near normal
V>domestic activity could occur relatively soon.  International travel will tak
V>a LOT longer to return, and any international travel for the next 12-18 month
V>would likely require forced quarantine on return to Australia, possibly for u
V>to 18 months.

Arkansas is doing seemingly better than other areas, though.

V> DS>   It stands for Digital Radio Enthusiasts...and the first word is in
V> DS> both acronyms. :P

V>Hahaha :D

Talk about giving one the finger. :P

V> DS>   Well, severe weather and lightning keep me off the air.

V>This is the time of year with the most stable weather here. :)

More storms are forecast Wednesday into Thursday. Louisiana,
Mississippi, and Alabama, among other areas, were hammered again by
tornadoes, etc. overnight. One supercell near Pickwick, Mississippi, had
doppler velocity winds of at least 150 mph...and apparently, there was a
debris ball on radar.
