My workbench project today was to install a 24" 1300 lumen light fixture.
The fixture was the type that attached to exisitng wiring, so I modified it to
take a standard pc power cable. I salvage a poer connector off an old power
supply, then I had to Dremel a hole for it to fit, then hot glue it in.

I plugged it in (and it works) however it needs to be much higher than under
the shelf above the bench.  I'm drawing up a boom or gantry type mount so I
can adjust the fixture's height and angle.  I'll use some scrap wood until I
can get to a hardware store and build a proper base.
