who said anything about airbrushes and thinners? why would you use thinner on water color?

some flour
some water
water color paints
mix the flour and water into a thin paste; tear the newspaper into strips; drag the strips through the paste and shape into whatever... let dry until hard... maybe sand smooth if desired... paint it by dipping parts into the water color paints or just dip your fingers and spritz/flick the paint onto the model...
so a little $ for flour and water colors... maybe some for sandpaper... that's almost as cheap as estes model rockets without the engines... i made them as models like some folks made the plastic cars...
