Some things are needed for the experience. You could build a doll house out
of simple hand tools, however with better tools, clamps and fixtures you can
focus on other aspects of building and design over basic fabrication.
When I used to play paintball, the rental markers were pretty basic, and if
you wanted to play to your potential, you invested in nicer gear.
