Depends. Generally replacing a motherboard may cause a recent
registration to fail. I haven't had much issue though... You can create
Windows 10 or 11 USB installer from Microsoft, install fresh and use a
CD Key from Windows 7 or newer. If you aren't using Pro, and have a
desire to use virtualization, You may want to look at the under $20 keys
from a gray market reseller... I've used a couple, and didn't have issues.
I would try your old key first though...
