A fews ago I got into parting together AR-15's and caught a case of BRD
(black rifle disease.)  It started with building a bull barrel 20" target gun
with a full length A2 stock, then realized it wasn't practical other than
carrying to and from the bench.   The next build was an SPR/ Mk12 inspired
build with a 1-4x lpvo with a rifle length quad rail.  It had a 18" mid
length gas system, still qualified as an HBAR profile.  Next in line was a
lightweight M4 copy with a 16" barrel.  Nothing fancy, just stock hardware and
iron sights.  While shopping I found lots of great deals, and acquired spare
parts that resulted in other builds.  I filled up a safe with various
configurations, many have one magazine ran throught them for a function check
or zeroing the sights.

Getting more practice reminded me I have stuff I haven't shot enough in a long
time.
