This is the age of technology. If they ban that
stuff you just make your own. They are making
anti aircraft weaponary in a town in the middle
of the desert in Pakistan :-)
Now more seriously, I have always thought that
proliferation of these things is very hard to
stop because this stuff can be made
in underground workshops anyway. It is common
for organized mafias to adapt freaking toys to
shoot real ammo in Spain.
Now, if you want a full auto just because, the
guy at The Home Gunsmith site had detailed
instructions to build a lot of interesting
things. Many of the projects there are prety
doable. You may want to check its submachinegun
projects (which imo are better suited for indoor
defense than many bulkier weapons). I don't
think I would trust one of these homemade things
very much, but it is worth a look for the
curiosity value.
