I wanted to be able to run the QWK program right away, so I prefer a native program. But I'd probably try that as well, I missed using BlueWave.

I didn't like SX that much either; I think I used both BW and SX because the BBSes I connected to offer downloading proprietary offline mail formats which were better than regular QWK. BW by far was the best choice back then as long as the BBS had it installed.
