It's a small pool, only 12 feet round. I'm hoping it will have some cooling effect. My wife is thinkng of buying a shade cloth and some misters that help cool the water using the ambiant air, like we saw in Panama.

The cooler is only 5 dollars and ice isn't that expensive. It will be a one and done type situation. Last year we had it under a tree and it stayed cool. Had to constantly clean and vacuum daily. I guess out in the open has it's downfall too with the temperature.
