I can definitely agree with that. Granted, here in WI between Saturday and today it was in the upper 90s, with the heat index up around 105. So sure, it has been pretty hot.

However, we went to the Orlando area in June last year for volleyball nationals when it was 105F all week with like 80% humidity. Fuck that, you can keep that shit.

We, along with other team parents, were sitting under a canopy at the resort at around midnight having some drinks, still complaining about the heat. No sun, yet still sweating through our shirts.

Then, the year before that we went to Peoria, AZ in June for vacation. Also 105F all week. Sure, when you were in the sun you felt like there was a torch pointed at you, but at least in the shade it was managable, and even dare I say enjoyable. (hardly any humidity at all). Evenings and nights were wonderful, too.

I can definitely tell the difference between the southwest and southeast. Yet here in WI, we get some of the best of both of those worlds, including Canada (it was 3 days, and now the rest of the week will be around 80F), where we can get down to -30F and lower in the winter. :(

Regards,
Nick
