I use Slack for my Car Wars and Gaslands PBEM games now. :-) I am subbed
on some Discord, but don't 'hang out' there.

As for the shallow drama and such, you are right on target! And at least
with BBS's you have to TYPE to express yourself! No quick 'like' or
heart or whatever. And if you want to say something, you have to
SAY something. :-)
