I honestly did not think this day would ever happen and when I saw the news (from Deuce), I really didn't immediately believe it.

I've been a fan of Anika since she posted her Wild Boy song on YouTube 9 years ago.  https://youtu.be/JSmmdxh4KWc?si=UENkE1kXSbI31CEK

She's phenominal and I'm *very* interested to see and hear what she plays on Rush songs. I doubt she'll do the Neil Peart thing (massive kit, tuned percussion, electronics) and she don't really play like Neil in the first place, but I think whatever she does will be very interesting and precise and do the songs justice and The Professor proud.

Neil's daughter is a teenage drummer and think Anika may provid her with massive inspiration and pride. I don't think they could have picked a better fit!

Herb Alexander would've been a great Neil clone but I don't think Geddy Alex wanted that (nor would I).
