Yep. And I'm OK with it, as long as it's of similar quality. They did not tell it in the movie obviously but this was a Forgotten Realms movie. I liked a lot of references to Icewind Dale (prison), Harpers, Neverwinter, Red Mages, The Underdark, etc.

Many things surprisingly accurate to the setting. This can be easily continued with different story, heroes and part of Fearun.

I'd love to see a proper Dragon Lance movie, Planescape movie would be abstract and Gaiman-influenced... lot of ideas of great follow-up that is totally less prone to be repetitive than Marvel.. Of course we'd be equally bored if they hit double digit number of movies, but I don't mind move D&D movies that are unique and loosely connected with fantasy world adventuring within broad boundaries of D&D ecosystem.
