IIRC Sony Pictures has some investment in regional cinema, and some Bollywood
big budget films are remakes of films that sold well in the other world
markets.  The stories are well written and best sellers.  Hand them off to
Bollywood and make them into 4 hour action films sprinkled with song and
dance scenes.
