Speaking of bad audio, the former Chicago radio host Mancow Muller recorded
a live show wtih Paul McCartney's band for the radio station.  Since it was
recorded at the mixing board, he could isolate individual vocals.  While
listening to isolated vocals, he learned why Linda McCartney's  mic feed was
dialed down.   She sings out of key, but they mix her mic so low in the mix
no one notices.  Mancow would replay the recording with Linda's voice turned
up ,and each time he played it the station would be fined $100k.  She has
passed away, but this was being done while she was alive
