As a hiring manager, you have to wonder whether good candidates, who
happened to be White and/or male were filtered out by HR.

I know that HR *DO* engage in selection based on race and gender.  DEI
and quotas have legalised this behaviour.

The most troubling thing, is HR is mostly White Women, who seem to
think that working against White Men is in their interest.  Bizarre.
