Subj : BBS over HAM

Does anyone have any experience running a BBS over HAM radio? I'm curious if
this implementation could even work, especially for setting up command center
type communications to limited client infrastructure. With bandwidth
requirements being so low for a text based interface, I'd assume HAM radio
could do this easily. Thoughts or ideas?
