I just moved my BBS (and my family) to the California coast, near Santa Cruz.
We're definitely out of the San Francisco bay area, but traffic in Silicon
Valley has gotten so bad that I can get from here to work about as quickly as I
could get from the middle of the valley to work.

And real estate isn't crazy. in Silicon Valley, houses are selling for 30-50%
over asking price!
