This message area is for Citizens Band Radio discussion.

Many current ham radio operators, as well as over the road truckers,
originally used CB radio before becoming ham radio licensees; or they
still use it instead of ham radio.

While a license is no longer required for CB radio, there are still
rules and restrictions set forth by the FCC. CB radio gear can still
be bought by various dealers, including many who sell ham radio items.

Note that I am working on preparing batchfiles for these message areas,
and it may take some time to get these posts going.

Also, since I consider messages over 30 days old to be out of date on
my BBS, these messages are deleted after that point, and reposted once
a month, with new information, when required.
