I just coded a new site engine in C feeding off the existing LevPherCMS mySQL database. As I was doing this I had my studio monitor headphones plugged into my phone, which was shuffling ~6,000 songs (a hodge-podge of mp3, acc, ogg, and flac files). It struck me that no matter who covers a GG Alin song -Flachenbrand, Morgoth, Grand Belials Key, Faith No More, etc. you cannot help but love it. I remember back in 1989 reading an interview with him in Thrasher Magazine. It was not easy for me to locate some of his music to listen to. But once I did I was hooked. There is just something about his "I don't give a fuck" attitude that makes it appealing.
