# On the RPoD Gopher Proxy

Finally sat down and made the RPoD gopher proxy fully functional. It now handles binary file downloads, displays images when the links are clicked, and works with gopher type 7 (search or input). I have removed the banner on at the the top of the proxy that allowed people to type in arbirary gopher locations, given it a lynxlike color scheme, and made it the index page of [RPoD www server](http://gopher.leveck.us)

The source is posted in the Web Based Projects link in the main gophermap. It is free to use and modify if you keep the initial comment intact and a link to my gopherhole would be appreciated (but not manditory).
