Handy Quote stores your product catalogs on your PDA so you can quote
prices to your customers wherever you are, whenever they ask!
Handy Quote (HQ) is an order estimating / pricing application for Palm
OS devices, including Palms, Handsprings, Sonys and others. Write up
quotes for your customers on the trade show floor, in the hotel lobby,
on the phone or face-to-face. You can give them an instant price quote
for any order!
HQ stores thousands of products and prices (including multi-level
price breaks for quantity orders!) Every quote you write can be saved
as a memo in the Memo Pad, or pasted in CSV format into most
spreadsheet or database applications on your PC. You can write as
many quotes as your PDA has room to store, and store multiple catalogs
for different vendors or product lines.

New In This Version
Version 3.3 is an operating-system-compatibility upgrade. Handy Quote
is now compatible with Palm OS version 5.0 and 5.2 devices, as well as
remaining compatible with older OS versions from 3.3 to 4.1. No
additional new features have been added to this version of Handy Quote.

Trial Version Limitations
If you have the trial version of HQ, you are allowed to add a maximum
of three line items to a quote. Also, saved quotes will only contain
sample data and a reminder to register. All other capabilities are
complete and fully functional, so you can see how HQ will work with
your catalog. If you find HQ meets your needs, you are encouraged to
register to get the full version, capable of saving up to 99 line
items per quote. If HQ is missing a feature you need, please contact
ComputAssist about future plans for HQ, or to get a customized
version.

By installing and using this Software, you agree to be bound by the
terms and conditions of this license agreement. If you do not agree to
these terms, do not install the software.
The Software is supplied as is. ComputAssist disclaims all warranties,
expressed or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties of
merchantability and of fitness for any purpose. ComputAssist does not
assume any liability for damages, direct or consequential, which may
result from the use of this Software.
The Software is not free. It is a shareware program. If you continue
to use the Software after a reasonable trial period, you must
register. On payment of the registration fee, you will be granted a
non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software in
accordance with this license agreement on a single PalmOS device.
Since the registration code is derived from the PalmOS user name
stored on the device, a separate registration code is required for
each PalmOS device.

Trial Version Installation
To try out Handy Qoute, use your desktop installer to install the
handyquote.prc file and the sample catalog file, hqsample.pdb.
The trial version is available in two different packages. This small
package that contains only the PDA program and a sample catalog makes
it easy to try out HQ with a minimum of download time.
All other components of HQ, including the Hotsync conduit and
complete documentation, are contained in the complete trial package
available at

downloaded it yet, get it now, run hqsetup.exe and read the docs for
additional information.
