I was fascinated  by a post that tomasino  made today[1]. In
the  past  couple  years  I've  been  reading  a  bit  about
socialism and capitalism, after  having the concepts churned
over in my head because  of some particular dystopian novels
from various  authors[2]. Basically, I was  raised, trained,
educated, or brainwashed to think a certain way politically-
I'm not sure which. The little bit that I've read in history
and elsewhere  has lead me  to believe that my  views aren't
really based on much more than tradition.

Tomasino recommended a book  called "Liberty or Equality" by
Erik von Kuhnelt-Liddihn. Apparently,  it's a little hard to
find, but  I did come across  a PDF and ePub  version with a
quick search[3].  I've downloaded both, and  look forward to
adding it to  my reading collection- which is  slow going at
the moment- so that I can someday have it read.

I enjoy reading  things that challenge the way  I think. The
way I  figure it, if my  ideas are solid, then  there is not
much risk  in challenging them.  If they aren't  solid, then
they need to be challenged. I also believe that all truth is
compatible, and  so I'm  not worried  about where  the truth
comes  from. Of  course,  you have  to  believe in  absolute
truth, perhaps, for that to work, but I do.

Thanks for the interesting reading, tomasino.
