*Edit: I decided just to place my phlog files in a folder
with their year, and not move them at the end of the year
next time, to avoid issues...

It would be nice if Gopher, or I suppose the gopher server,
had a mechanism to handle moved files. Akin to Apache's
custom error responses. I just moved my 2017 content into
an archive folder, but I realized afterward that other
gopher content references some of that material. The issue
is that those references will now result in an error page,
with no clear and easy way for the user to push through
and find the content in the new folder.

This is where I have issues with gophernicus, which seems
to be the most popular server in use. When I ran a gopher
server out of my home I chose to use motsognir, mostly
because it was actively developed. I found a bug, and the
author released a fix. I prefer active projects, for that
very reason. It also has a wonderful manual, which at the
time was very useful to me, being very new to gopher.

I took a quick glance at the current manual for motsognir,
and found no mention of a mechanism for custom error pages.
But I'm willing to be the author would work something in
if it was mentioned...
