Today I changed the batteries in my psion 3a. It takes two
AAs. For fun, I'm authoring this post on the psion, and I'll
transfer it over via serial later.

I use the psion daily, for alarms and to track personal
goals. I don't spend a lot of time on it, but it does get
used. Every once in a while I'll play a game or write a
script in opl for fun.

With my usage the two AAs lasted about 4 months. I use
rechargeable NiMH batteries, low discharge. Like the old
Palm devices, I'm super impressed with the value you get out
of your battery life with this thing.

I used to have the knock-off version of the psion 5. A Revo
Diamond Mako something-or-other. That thing had a killer
keyboard, I'll have to get something like that again sometime.
It might even make a nice writing tool, for times when the
alphasmart is too big.
