I used the Demo Vic=20 in some stores along with trying Atari 400 and 800 and
the Texas Instruments TI-99/4, Radio Shacks TRS-80,Apples Apple ][ and
MacIntosh pc's but decided to get the C=64 as my first computer.

Some friends I met on Ham Radio had Apple ]['s but the asking price was
USD $300.00 more than the C=64, 1541 and VicModem 300 I bought.

A friend at Church had a TRS-80 Model 1 that stored programs on Cassette
Tapes but I saw that the Floppy Drive on a Apple ][ was quicker Loading and
Saving programs and decided to spend the extra money to get the 1541 FDD with
the C=64.

I said this before but that friend with the TRS-80 pc got a C=64 a few months
prior to my buying one.
He didn't have a Cassette Drive, only the pc, and told me it hurt him to type
a Basic Listing in and after Running it turning the pc off and lose his work.

I told him about a 7414
