There is a beta version of Qedit for Linux named TSE... I believe it's availble
from semware, though wikipedia states "As of Aug 4, 2007 no Linux version is
available except a beta-version through request"

There are however a lot of great editors under linux that you may decide you
like.. some use wordstar-like commands.. joe is one that gets a lot of use over
here.  So does vi.. pico is really easy to use.. cooledit is fun to use..
really there are tons of them out there.. :)  I can help if you need it, Gord.

Take care,
Janis
