I believe you are correct, for the parameters pointed to by the "Large"
keyword.  However, if you take manual control of the individual parameters, you
should be able to tax whatever the limits of your environment are
(theoretically 2gb for OS/2).

I tried allowing 512k for some of my gated newsgroups for a while.  It worked,
but I didn't find the content of those messages particularly useful (usually
UUENCODEd trash unrelated to the group topic) and eventually went back to
letting LARGE filter the trash, instead.<g>
