I'll make a note to send you the Castle of Lord program archive soon. Right
now, I'm dealing with a screwed up installation of Norton Antivirus 2007, that
has me figuratively feeling like Mount Vesuvius.  I looked on the Symantec
web-site BEFORE the installation to try to see if there were any "gotchas" I
needed to know about.  Didn't see any.  I start the install from cd-rom, and lo
and behold it (NAV 2007 installer) demands that I un-install ZoneAlarm which
has worked PERFECTLY for me for over two years, co-existing all that time with
NAV 2005 and NAV 2006.  Then I can't get the Norton Account crap to work for
nearly a full day. To add to the migraine, NAV 2007 has caused, I have to
un-install the blasted program using their Norton Removal Tool and re-install
all over again.  Which of course means doing their blasted Full System Scan
again.  Which has gone from requiring 3 hours to 4 hours or more.

I heavily recommend to everyone that they strongly consider boycotting Norton
Antivirus 2007 if they use ZoneAlarm, and try someone else for antivirus
protection, since I'm so upset with them.

So dealing with sending LORD files will wait until I either have NAV 2007
re-installed and working, or I've given up on it for awhile, and installed AVG
Free.  Which probably will have no problem working with ZoneAlarm.  There's
nothing on the NAV 2007 product box that even says "This program now has its
own Firewall software included."

And one needs a blasted magnifying glass to read those blasted manuals from
companies like Symantec.  And TurboTax Deluxe 2006 Tax year s/w is waiting to
be installed.  I just hope its not going to give me yet another migraine when I
try doing it.

I know this is off-topic, but which echo on Fidonet should I go to to find out
if others are having this kind of problem?  Thanks, Donald.
