About IP Mailer ?, On Thu Feb 19 2004

"i> (that I use as my mailer). Apart from BinkD are there any other
"i> packages that would suit the job ? Ultimately, something like
"i> Argus/Radius would be the best option, but not sure if such a beast
"i> exists in the OS/2 world.

Right off the top of my head you might want to try Binkley/2 I think Front Door
comes in an OS/2 flavour, Intermail/2, and if you feel adventurous AdeptXBBS.

Adept has Internet stuff built in to it and is written specifically for OS/2.

File_Id.Diz for Adept:

AdeptXBBS Version 1.11y Full Install
------------------------------------
32-bit, Multi-Threaded GUI, NNTP,
SMTP, POP3, Telnet, Sockets, FTP,
Integrated Mailer, REXX, Utils,
multiple language, XMsg, *.Msg,
Squish and JAM msg bases,
localized date/time display and
a lot more!

Very customizable for almost any
 BBSing needs.

GUI (PM) BBS for OS/2. FREEWare/2
         24 Node Version
------------------------------------

All you need to do with this is ensure that SIO is configured properly and a
way you go.  If you decide to use this one we can help you in the ADEPT_SYSOP
Echo.

Hope this helps.  Keep us posted.

We are a fine board trying to make it better.
