hunh? rsync is a 3rd party package you can install...
if you want logs, like i do, you redirect the output for it it like so...

 x:\os2progs\rsync\bin\rsync %RSYNC_PARMS 2>&1 | TEE /A /path/to/log/file.log

both stdout and stderr are sent to tee which prints them to the screen as well
as the specified (log) file...
