Hitting escape exits the gallery no mattery how deep into subdirectories you are.  Pressing backspace or selecting the previous directory in the list will move you back a directory.

The reason I did it this way was that its really annoying to make someone go back through 3 or 4 subdirectories when all they want to do is close down the gallery.

I have it on my TODO list to redo the gallery entirely so I can make that action configurable at that point.

The file viewer is for viewing ANSI files, the gallery is for viewing files within a directory structure.

The gallery uses the file viewer.
