In your node manager setup area you'll find an option to send to a FTP
site. Click on Outbound messages until you see 'toss to an FTP site' come
up, then drop down to Configure and enter the particulars of the node
you're configuring. When all else fails, there is a IREX info document
available using the F1 key. Don't forget to select Node active and answer
YES to it and Crash Mail if you wish mail to go out right away. Also make
sure that Inbound messages is configed the way you want that to work.

Upon exit back to Node manager, you should see the node address, three
letter characters and the sysops name, all on one line. The three letters
indicate what that node's config is. B means BinkD, F means FTP and Y or N
means the node is either active, or not, as in FFY or FFN for an FTP
node...
