No, I think only one person wrote FTS-9. I doubt he's stupid, but it's stupid
that the spec was never clarified or updated to address its short-sightedness.

Actually, I did follow the standard. I even followed some existing practices
that had been place for many years before Synchronet and its utilities (e.g.
SBBSecho) started sending messages with unique MSGIDs into FidoNets.
