That's true of the recent updates to BBBS. They require an installed base.
There hasn't been a BBBS release since 2007.. so I wouldn't call the BBBS areas high traffic.. :)
Kim has released new versions of bterm just after the last BBBS updates.
There are updated versions for linux 32/64/Rpi, Windows and OS/2.

It looks like today the only OS's supported are BBBS-L, BBBS-2 and BBBS-NT.
I suppose I could contact Kim but I don't know him well. Do you think that would be a good thing?
