My Binkley is set to offer bidirectional protocols as standard,

BiDiBaud      2400                           ; BiDi default max speed
BiDiOK        /Arq/V                         ; BiDi ok any Arq except HST
ProtocolPreference HYD,JAN,ZAP,ZMO

and that's what I get;

: 29 Dec 19:26:01.74 BINK Session method: xHydra
* 29 Dec 19:26:01.29 BINK HCON:  * Remote has chat facility (bell enabled)
* 29 Dec 19:26:02.95 BINK HMSGDEV: Remote has 153590 bytes for us

Of course, given that I'm a point, it's usually very unbalanced and there's
no great improvement in efficiency.  OTOH there's no significant penalty
either, so on the odd occasion when I upload something, there's a gain.  It
used to be more valuable when I uploaded more, but of course these days
everybody tends to get things off the Internet.

    Regards,

             Robert.
