Hi Sean,

SD> I've recently decided to set back up my dialup node
SD> again, so I dug up BT/2 and set it up.  However, BT's
SD> not answering the phone...

Do you have a suitable EVENT covering the phone answering period?

SD> I'm using a USR Courier external v.everything modem
SD> (33.6).  Does anyone have a good init string for it?

I always set Bink to use ATZ for all lines and nothing else. Then I manually
configure each modem so that I can just swap modems between lines without
re-configuring Bink.

SD> Also, does anyone have the correct errorlevels for
SD> 26400, 33600 and 38400 bps rates to drop to the BBS?

Assuming your BT/2 below is the OS/2 version, then speeds/errorlevels are
irrelevant as once its set with Bink, MAXP just inherits the File Handle from
Bink for the modem, so it doesn't need to know any speed setting at all.

SD> I'm using BT/2-2.60 XH7 beta (siocomm patched), BTW.

Cheers............pk.
