Ok. Either way, I grabbed the archive and tried for myself with the same
results. Even though those files are executable, they don't actually run and
give a "Bad command of file name" error. I'm wondering if Kim created another
step or the archive is just bad. Here's the steps I took:

user/group axisd:axisd

/home/axisd/tmp $ wget www.bbbs.net/ftp/bbbs_lii.tar.gz
/home/axisd/tmp $ gunzip bbbs*
/home/axisd/tmp $ tar xvpf bbbs*
/home/axisd/tmp $ cd bbbs
/home/axisd/tmp $ ./bcfg4 0
Bad command or file name
/home/axisd/tmp $ ./bbbs
Bad command or file name

This was with an Archlinux VM on an HP Proliant server with an Intel Xeon
processor.

Regards,
Nick
