Being "out of work with no money" is just one example of being poor, and
certainly not the only one. A farmer who worked all season only to see some
of his crop fail for reasons beyond his control could also be considered poor,
as could someone working a minimum-wage job to support a family. In fact,
most people on public assistance do have jobs.
