This is an even tinier version of my
[TinyOLED](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:803549)
display controller. Following a suggestion made by user
Chri on the [RepRap
forum](http://forums.reprap.org/read.p
hp?13,499572,504179#msg-504179), I changed the position
of the rotary encoder to stick out on the side instead of
being on the front. This makes the use of the rotary
encoder much more intuitive and allows an even smaller
and simpler implementation of the display frame.
Like for the first version, STL files are provided for
display frames that fit the 0.96" and 1.3" versions of
the 128x64 I2C OLED display, as well as the fully
commented SCAD source. Also included is a PDF with the
layout of the single sided PCB. For a more detailed
description and further technical discussions see the
[original version of the
TinyOLED](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:803549) and
also the corresponding thread in the [RepRap
forum](http:/
/forums.reprap.org/read.php?13,499572,504179).
Due to the right side mounting of the rotary encoder,
this version only has a mounting hole for the double
hinge mechanism on the left side of the display frame
(for mounting on the right side of the printer). So for
mounting the display on the left side of the printer, you
need to rotate it by 180 degrees and configure the
graphic driver to also rotate the display by 180 degrees.
